File extension DB is referred to as a data file and is associated with Microsoft Corporation’s Database File application. DB files, which are created by different database applications, are used to store information in a structured manner. If you are unable to open DB files on MS Windows it could be because of errors on the system registry or inappropriate associating files. In order identify, repair, and prevent errors related to file extension DB, it is suggested that you regularly scan your system.
The most frequently executable file extension on your computer system is definitely DLL. It stands for Dynamic Link Library and is used by MS Windows to store executable codes to be used by different applications. Files with DLL extension fall in the category of data files. In case you come across an unknown file, which you think is a DLL file and need to be sure about the same you can do so by opening the file in a text editor, such as notepad. If the opening letters of the file are MZ, it means that this file is executable and is either a DLL file on an EXE file.
